The Croatian Mint (formerly the Croatian Minting Institute) is a state-owned institution. It engages in the production of coins, medals, license plates for road vehicles, commemorative plaques, and badges. It was founded by the Agency for Commercial Operations and the Croatian National Bank on April 23, 1993, and began operations on January 14, 1994. The seat of the mint is located in Sveta Nedelja.
