In today's video, we are presenting a Yugoslav decoration – the Order of the Republic with a Silver Wreath (2nd class). It was awarded in socialist Yugoslavia for special merits in the fields of education, science, art, culture, and other areas of public activity. There are two variants of this decoration: with the coat of arms of the FPRY (5 torches) and the coat of arms of the SFRY (6 torches). The conceptual designer of this decoration was the academic painter from Belgrade Sreten Dokić, and the decoration itself was manufactured at the IKOM factory in Zagreb.
