Beginners in numismatics and collecting are very often quite impatient when filling their collections. After figuring out which coins or banknotes they are missing to complete their collection, they begin frantically searching for and buying them, sometimes at crazy prices, all to complete their collections as soon as possible. Such actions often result in frustration or anger, because some of the specimens they are looking for are unavailable on the market or very expensive. However, numismatics and collecting is a “long-term game” that requires patience and good nerves. Numismatics is not a race or a competition, but an activity that should provide a person with peace and enjoyment.
