In this video, we present the military badge of the Croatian Naval Legion from World War II. The Croatian Naval Legion was a naval unit of the Independent State of Croatia that fought as part of the German Navy (Kriegsmarine) on the Black Sea. The official name of this unit was the Croatian Naval Detachment.
The badge we are presenting was established in June 1942 and was awarded to all unit members who served in it for at least two months. The badge was worn on the chest, on the left pocket of the uniform.
This video was filmed in March-June 2024 and was created for documentary and educational purposes.
