In today's video, we are talking about the 1000 kuna banknote of the Independent State of Croatia, issued on May 26, 1941. At the time of its release into circulation, this banknote represented the highest nominal value in circulation. This banknote in brown tones was designed by our famous painter Ljubo Babić. On the front of the banknote is the image of a mysterious girl about whom we haven't known much until now. However, thanks to the research of fellow numismatist Vedran Krušelj, we are finally uncovering the secret that has been hidden for a long time. Find out what this is all about in this video.
This video was recorded in November 2022 and was produced for documentary and educational purposes.
