In this video, we present a small selection of silver kreuzers (kreuzer, kreutzer, krajczar). These 18th- and 19th-century coins are among the most popular silver coins among numismatists and collectors in our region. They are characterized by a specific, very beautiful design; depictions of various rulers; a long issuing period and a wide range of mint years; different mints; as well as a large number of varieties. All in all, this is a very interesting and challenging field, both for collecting and for study. Since these silver coins were actively used in commerce, very few have survived in a state of perfect preservation. Today, such specimens are highly valued on the numismatic market.
