In this video, we are talking about a Belgian coin. It is a commemorative 50-franc silver coin from 1935 dedicated to two occasions: the 1935 Brussels World's Fair and the 100th anniversary of Belgian railways. The obverse of the coin features a depiction of St. Archangel Michael, and the reverse shows the Palais des Expositions at Heysel.
This is a very unusual and interesting coin, because it commemorates two occasions, and the depiction of St. Archangel Michael, which is otherwise made as a weather vane on the tower of the Brussels City Hall building, is also stylistically interesting. This video was filmed in the highest sphere of the Atomium, a famous landmark in Brussels.
This video was recorded in June 2023 and was created for documentary and educational purposes.
