The Croatian Mint, our state mint, has experienced major changes in the past few years. These changes are also reflected in the new numismatic issues that have finally begun to follow the rhythm of modern world numismatics. One of the people responsible for this is Ivan Odrljin, with whom we had the opportunity to speak right in the Mint's building located in Sveta Nedelja.
Ivan is otherwise a numismatist at heart and therefore we can freely say that we are fortunate to have one of our colleagues working at the Mint who understands how numismatists think and what they want. In this interview, Ivan spoke very openly about all aspects of issuing modern Croatian commemorative coins, and we believe that after this interview, many doubts regarding the Mint's work will be cleared up.
In the interview, we discussed recent numismatic issues as well as future plans. We got an exclusive and a few more announcements...
By the way, this video is not a sponsored video, but rather a conversation recorded with Ivan Odrljin as a relevant interlocutor from the Croatian Mint. However, I must admit they „bought“ me with coffee and a warm welcome at the Croatian Mint.
This video was recorded in October 2023.
