This video is part of a series on Dubrovnik currency where in each video we present one coin of the Republic of Dubrovnik. The copper solad was a small Dubrovnik coin with a nominal value of 5 minci (folara). The obverse of the coin features the image of St. Blaise on the walls of Dubrovnik. Along the edge of the coin is a semicircular inscription in Latin: CIVITAS RAGUSII (City of Dubrovnik). The reverse of the coin depicts Jesus Christ and two small Dubrovnik coats of arms.
