Does it make sense to attend numismatics fairs?

With the advent of the internet, and social networks in particular, all kinds of communication in the virtual world have intensified. Numismatics, as well as collecting in general, has not escaped this. A large part of numismatic activities, such as the exchange of information, discussions, arranging trades, sales, and the like, now takes place via internet channels. On the one hand, this is good, but on the other hand, it also has its negative consequences; real-world gatherings and meetings of numismatists have decreased, resulting in a general decline in overall numismatic culture and the level at which the numismatic community functions. According to some, there is no point in coming to numismatic fairs and meetings because “everything” is online today... and those fairs are just a waste of time. But is that really the case and is there any point in coming to numismatic fairs – watch today's video and draw your own conclusion on this topic.

This video was recorded in April 2023 and was created for documentary and educational purposes.
