At numismatic coffee with Vedran Krušelj

In today's video, for the first time, we have a guest, and not just any guest. We spoke with Vedran Krušelj, one of the rare numismatic researchers in Croatia today. Colleage Krušelj has been working for a long time on a book about the banknotes of the Independent State of Croatia, which, as it seems, will represent a major seminal work in this field of Croatian notaphily.

The conversation also touched upon replacement banknotes from the mentioned period, as well as the interesting serial numbering on the 100-dinar banknote of the Democratic Federal Yugoslavia from 1944. Likewise, the conversation also addressed ideological and political neutrality in numismatics and collecting.

This video was recorded in August 2023.

Thanks to Mr. Almin Muratagić for providing the photograph of the 100 dinar banknote from 1944.
